Manchester United are expecting to secure the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan by the end of the week, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is claiming that newly-appointed Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is expecting the club to push through a deal to bring the playmaker to Old Trafford this week.
United have been heavily linked with the 27-year-old midfielder and edged closer to a deal over the weekend after Borussia Dortmund confirmed that a fee had been agreed between the two clubs.
Now, the British newspaper is reporting that Mourinho is hoping that his third signing of the summer will be completed by the end of the week.
Mourinho, who is due to take United training for the first time on Tuesday, has already signed defender Eric Bailly and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer as he bids to revamp his squad ahead of his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
