Man United to sign Bundesliga midfielder next week – report

Manchester United will announce £28m signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan next week, according to reports

Manchester United will announce the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan next week, according to the Daily Star.

The Red Devils completed the signing of Eric Bailly from La Liga side Villarreal earlier this month as Jose Mourinho landed his first signing as United manager.

Sweden legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic announced that he would be joining the 20-time English champions via Instagram on Thursday afternoon ahead of a medical at the Red Devils.

The 13-time Premier League winners have been heavily linked with a £26.3m move for Armenia international and Borussia Dortmund playmaker Mkhitaryan throughout the summer so far.

According to an exclusive report in the Daily Star, United have agreed a £28m fee with Dortmund for the highly-rated midfielder but won’t announce the deal until next week.

United are believed to be on the trail of a number of players this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season in charge at Old Trafford.
