Man United ready to sign France superstar in world-record transfer – report

Man United are ready to stump up a world-record transfer fee for Paul Pogba, according to reports in France

Manchester United are ready to sign Paul Pogba in a world-record deal from Juventus, according to reports in the British media.

The France international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford on a regular basis since the conclusion of the 2015/16 Premier League season.

Jose Mourinho’s appointment as Louis van Gaal’s successor has only served to intensify speculation surrounding Pogba’s potential move to England.

However, the Serie A champions are reported to be demanding a transfer fee in the region of £86m or more for their all-conquering France midfielder.

According to French media outlet L’Equipe, United chief executive Ed Woodward has opened transfer negotiations with Juventus over the talented 23-year-old as Mourinho looks to land his first marquee signing as Red Devils manager.
