Man United transfer boost as super agent works on Brazil signing – report
Manchester United hope Jorge Mendes can secure Fabinho's Old Trafford transfer, according to reports
Manchester United are hoping that super agent Jorge Mendes can help secure Fabinho’s transfer to Old Trafford from Monaco, according to reports in Italy.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for the Monaco full-back since Jose Mourinho’s appointment as the new United manager last month.
The 53-year-old shares the same agent with the 22-year-old Brazilian, with Mendes earning a reputation as one of world football’s best agents over the past decade.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the 20-time English champions are optimistic that Mendes can secure Fabinho’s touted transfer to United from the Ligue 1 side this summer.
Fabinho is thought to be valued in the region of £7.8m as Mourinho looks to bolster United’s defensive options ahead of the 2015/16 season.
