Man United want to sign these two France stars this summer – report
Manchester United want to sign both Paul Pogba and Blaise Matuidi this summer, say reports
Manchester United want to sign both Paul Pogba and Blaise Matuidi in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
ESPN FC is claiming that newly-appointed Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bring both of the France internationals to the club this summer as he gears up for his first season in charge.
United have been heavily linked with a big-money move to sign Pogba in recent days as Mourinho searches for his fourth summer signing at the club.
Matuidi was also thought to be on the club’s radar if a deal for Pogba fell through, but the same story claims that United are now keen to bring both players to the Premier League in the summer transfer window.
The story says that Mourinho has identified Pogba as his prime target as he prepares to make his fourth signing at Old Trafford.
But it also claims that the club are still keen on bringing Matuidi to the club.
Mourinho has thus far signed defender Eric Bailly, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan so far this summer.
The Portuguese coach has signed a three-year deal to become United’s next boss after Louis van Gaal’s sacking in May.
