Mesut Ozil looks to be making the most of his break from football as he relaxes in Los Angeles with some friends.

The Arsenal playmaker has been given some extended time off by his club after his involvement in Euro 2016 with Germany.

Ozil was unable to prevent his national side from crashing out of the tournament in France as they suffered a semi-final defeat at the hands of the hosts.

However, the midfielder now looks to be happy as he relaxes in California with his Germany international colleague Leroy Sane.

Ozil posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Friday night and wrote: “On holiday with some bros in L.A. @leroysane19 #relax #meal #california”

Many of Ozil’s Arsenal colleagues have already reported back to London Colney for pre-season training as Arsene Wenger’s men prepare for the new campaign.
