New Man United signing comments on Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Henrikh Mkhitaryan says Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be an instant hit at Manchester United next season

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is convinced that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be an instant success at Manchester United next season.

The Swedish striker is gearing up for his first taste of Premier League football after joining the Red Devils on a free transfer following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.

Mkhitaryan arrived at Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho’s third summer signing earlier this month as the Portuguese coach bolstered his midfield options at Old Trafford.

And fellow new arrival Mkhitaryan feels that the 34-year-old striker is set to prove his star status at Old Trafford in his first season in the Premier League.

Mkhitaryan is quoted as saying by Metro: “He’s an amazing player. The name says everything for himself, the words are just, like, no matter. No comment.

“I think for me it will be easy to play with him because he is a high-quality player, he knows how to keep the ball, how to play with it and how to create space for the others so I’m waiting to work with him.”

United moved quickly to appoint Mourinho as the club’s new manager following their disappointing fifth-placed finish in the Premier League last season under Louis van Gaal.
