Alexis Sanchez is ready for pre-season action with Arsenal after touching down in the UK

Alexis Sanchez was all smiles with his best friend after arriving back in the UK to begin his preparations for the new Premier League season with Arsenal.

The forward was given an extended summer break by his club following his involvement in helping Chile win the Copa America for the second year running in the United States.

Sanchez enjoyed some time off with his family but jetted back to the UK earlier this week as he now begins to turn his attentions back towards Arsenal affairs.

And the 27-year-old seemed to be in good spirits as he posed for a selfie with his dog after touching down in London on his private jet.

Sanchez posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “😂😂😂😂😂😂🐶🐶🇬🇧”

Sanchez will be hoping to help Arsenal improve on their second-placed finish in the Premier League next season.

The Gunners ended up 10 points behind champions Leicester City and without a trophy during Sanchez’s second season at the club.
