Alexis Sanchez is finally getting a chance to unwind after a gruelling season...

Alexis Sanchez has taken to social media to reveal that he is finally being able to recharge his batteries on holiday as he continues to unwind ahead of the new Premier League season.

The attacker has been granted some well-earned time off by Arsenal after his involvement in helping Chile win the Copa America earlier in the summer.

Arsenal fans will have been concerned by Sanchez’s fitness levels after he suffered a serious looking ankle injury during the Copa America final clash against Argentina.

However, Gunners supporters will be pleased to see that Sanchez is finally being able to recharge his batteries and relax after a gruelling season.

Sanchez posted the video montage above of himself enjoying himself in his hometown of Tocopilla with his dogs on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Tocopilla 2016”

Sanchez helped Chile win the Copa America last summer but suffered a muscular injury in the lead-up to Christmas which caused him to miss most of the hectic festive period with Arsenal.
