Romelu Lukaku is making the most of his summer holidays
Romelu Lukaku was making the most of his summer break in Miami amid continuing speculation surrounding his future.
The Everton striker is one of Europe’s most in-demand forwards after an impressive campaign for the Toffees.
Lukaku netted 18 times in 37 Premier League games but the Merseyside outfit still finished in the bottom half of the table.
Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger was reported to have discussed a potential move to The Emirates with the Toffees striker earlier this month.
However, for now at least, Lukaku was switching off from everything football as the Belgian soaked up the sun in Miami.
Lukaku posted the above photo and wrote on his Instagram page:
“Enjoying Miami 🇺🇸😊”
The towering centre-forward moved to Everton in a £27m deal from Chelsea in 2013 after being deemed surplus to requirements by then-manager Jose Mourinho.
Former Anderlecht striker Lukaku has netted 43 times in 104 Premier League games for Everton in three seasons.
Arsenal have already signed two players in the summer transfer window thus far, snapping up Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka and Japanese forward Takuma Asano.
