Didier Drogba has taken to social media to remind Arsenal fans of his incredible goal-scoring record against the north London club.

The Ivorian made it 16 goals in 16 games against the Gunners in all competitions as he found the net for the MLS All-Stars as Arsenal were 2-1 winners in their most recent pre-season friendly game on Thursday night.

Drogba was Arsenal’s nemesis for years during his two spells at Chelsea and Gunners fans will need no reminding of the striker’s prowess in front of goal.

And the 38-year-old forward could not help but remind Arsenal fans of his record against their club with a post on social media on Friday morning.

Drogba shared the photo above on Instagram of himself celebrating the goal in San Jose and wrote: “He told me come on Bro I want to celebrate your goal, I’ve done it bro @oficialgio @kaka and the boys!!! Was an honor to play with all of you guys.

“@mls #allstargame2016 #arsenal16 #sanjose #16games16goals”

Arsenal claimed victory in the pre-season friendly in California thanks to goals from Joel Campbell and Chuba Akpom.
