Jose Mourinho is a proud father
Jose Mourinho has taken to social media to express his pride at seeing his son, Jose Junior, sign a two-year scholarship deal with Fulham.
The 16-year-old goalkeeper put pen to paper on his contract with the Cottagers last week after having played in the youth sides of Chelsea and Real Madrid, where his father was previously in charge.
Newly-appointed Manchester United boss Mourinho was clearly proud of his son’s achievement, as he posted the picture above of Jose Junior signing his contract alongside his mother on social media.
Mourinho shared the picture above on Instagram on Saturday afternoon and wrote: “My boy!!!! jm/ffc”
Fulham begin their Championship campaign against Newcastle on Friday 5 August at Craven Cottage.
Mourinho has been appointed as United’s new manager on a three-year contract after the sacking of Louis van Gaal last month.
The Portuguese coach has been tasked with restoring the Red Devils to the top of English football after their disappointing fifth-placed finish in the Premier League last season under Van Gaal.
