Juan Mata looks to be happy at Manchester United despite the transfer speculation

Juan Mata appears to be content with life at Manchester United despite the recent speculation surrounding his future at Old Trafford – if his latest post on Instagram is anything to go by.

The Spain international’s former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was appointed as Louis van Gaal’s replacement in May after United’s disappointing fifth-place finish in the Premier League table.

Mourinho sold Mata to the 20-time English champions in a £37.5m deal from Chelsea in January 2013 after deeming the World Cup winner surplus to requirements at the west London side.

According to a report in The Daily Record at the weekend, 28-year-old Mata is one of four United players that Mourinho is looking to sell in the summer transfer window.

However, Mata looked unfazed by talk of a United exit as he appeared to suggest that he is happy with life at the Red Devils under his new manager via his Instagram page despite the transfer speculation.
