Mario Balotelli delivers a fresh Instagram update as he continues to train with Liverpool's reserves
Mario Balotelli has taken to social media to deliver a cryptic update on his situation after being overlooked for Liverpool’s tour of America by manager Jurgen Klopp.
The Italian striker has been training with the Merseyside outfit’s reserve team back in England while his team-mates continue their pre-season preparations in the US.
The 26-year-old striker has not played in any of Liverpool’s pre-season games so far as the Reds were victorious over Tranmere Rovers, Huddersfield Town, Fleetwood Town and Wigan Athletic on English soil.
He spent last season on loan to AC Milan but returned to the Anfield outfit at the start of the summer.
However, it appears that Balotelli may be losing patience with his situation at the club, if his latest post on Instagram is anything to go by.
He shared the picture above on the app and wrote: “#truestory Good morning.”
Balotelli moved to Liverpool from AC Milan in a £16m deal in 2014 and scored one goal in 26 appearances in the Premier League during his first season at the Merseyside outfit.
