Mesut Ozil was enjoying the last few days of his summer holidays this week in Malibu before he jets back to the United Kingdom to begin his preparations for the new Premier League season.

The Germany playmaker has been given an extended summer holiday by Arsenal after his involvement in Euro 2016 with his country.

Ozil has been recharging his batteries and soaking up some sunshine before he returns to England and starts to prepare himself for the 2016-17 Premier League campaign.

And the 27-year-old looked to be in good shape as he posed for a picture and posted the photo up on his Instagram account.

Ozil shared the photo above on the app and wrote the caption: “Enjoying my time in Malibu 😎☀️ #holiday #beach #qualitytime”

Ozil will be hoping to help Arsenal win their first Premier League title since the 2003-04 season next term.
