Granit Xhaka looks to be making the most of his summer holiday as he prepares for his first taste of Premier League football with Arsenal.

The Swiss midfielder became the north London club’s first signing of the summer transfer window back in May as Arsene Wenger moved quickly to bolster his squad at The Emirates.

Xhaka formally signed his contract with the Gunners last month and was given a guided tour of Emirates Stadium before jetting off to warmer climes to enjoy his summer break.

And the 23-year-old enjoyed some dinner with his girlfriend Leonita Lekaj on Sunday night.

Xhaka posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Enjoy the Dinner. Thanks to the best waiter”

Arsenal confirmed their second signing of the summer transfer window on Sunday with the capture of Japanese forward Takuma Asano from Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

The north London club are still believed to be in the market for more players as Wenger looks to revamp his squad ahead of next season.
