Granit Xhaka is making sure that he heads to Arsenal with his batteries fully recharged as he prepares for his first campaign at the north London club.

The Switzerland international midfielder is gearing up for his first campaign at The Emirates after becoming Arsene Wenger’s first signing of the summer back in May.

Wenger moved quickly to bolster his midfield options with the signing of Xhaka following the north London side’s disappointing trophyless campaign last term.

The 23-year-old was given a guided tour of The Emirates earlier this week as he formalised his transfer to the Premier League outfit.

Now, the midfielder has jetted off to warmer climes as he enjoys a well-earned break ahead of his first season in England.

Xhaka posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Friday morning and wrote: “Holidays with my Darling.”
