New Chelsea signing Michy Batshuayi poses alongside his new Blues team-mates
Michy Batshuayi has wasted no time settling into life as a Chelsea player after the striker revealed that he is already part of the Blues clique.
The Belgium international was the first signing of the Antonio Conte era after the west London side signed the 23-year-old centre-forward in a £34m deal from Ligue 1 side Marseille earlier this month.
Batshuayi scored twice in Chelsea’s 8-0 win against Austrian side Atus Ferlach in a behind-closed-doors pre-season fixture before Conte’s squad jetted out to California last week.
The summer signing was a 70th-minute substitute for Bertrand Traore in Chelsea’s 1-0 win against Liverpool at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on Wednesday night.
And Batshuayi posted a photo with his new Chelsea team-mates in their hotel as the Chelsea striker indicated how quickly he has settled into life with the Blues.
Batshuayi posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:
“My clique !!! #CFC”
Chelsea finished in tenth place in the Premier League table last season as the Blues struggled to perform under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink.
The Blues will face West Ham United in their first Premier League fixture of the new season.
