Marko Grujic can't wait for his first Liverpool game
Marko Grujic says he can’t wait for his Liverpool debut ahead of the Reds’s pre-season clash against Fleetwood Town on Wednesday night.
The Reds agreed a deal to sign the highly-rated Serbian in the January transfer window before loaning the playmaker back to Red Star Belgrade until the end of the 2015/16 season.
Grujic made a trip over to Merseyside in May before the 20-year-old linked up with the Liverpool squad earlier this month ahead of the 2016/17 Premier League campaign.
The 20-year-old has been attempting to impress Reds manager Jurgen Klopp over the past week as the 18-time English champions gear up for their first full season under the German.
And Liverpool’s new signing took to his Instagram page to post a photo from their latest training sessions at Melwood ahead of Wednesday night’s clash against Fleetwood.
Grujic posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:
“Last training session before tomorrow’s match ! I’m so excited ☺️👌⚽️🔴 #lfc”
The Serbian international won the top-flight crown with Red Star last season.
