Chelsea midfielder Pedro watches his Blues team-mates play their second pre-season friendly
Pedro Rodriguez is sat in the stands as Chelsea take on RZ Pellets in their second pre-season friendly under Antonio Conte on Wednesday evening.
The Italian manager made an inconspicuous start to his Chelsea career earlier this month after the west London side suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat by Rapid Vienna in Austria.
Pedro wasn’t part of that Blues side as the Chelsea midfielder continued to relax on his summer holidays in Tenerife following a disappointing Euro 2016 campaign.
However, the former Barcelona man has since linked up with the Blues squad for pre-season training in Austria alongside his compatriot Cesc Fabregas.
And Pedro posted a photo of his view in the stands as his Chelsea team-mates looked to record their first victory under new manager Conte.
Pedro wrote on his Instagram page:
“Come on Chelsea!!! Good luck boys!!”
The World Cup winner scored seven times and made two assists in 29 Premier League appearances for the west London side in his first season at Stamford Bridge.
Pedro moved to Chelsea in a £21m deal from La Liga giants Barcelona last summer.
