Tahith Chong looks pleased to be closing in on his transfer to Manchester United...

Tahith Chong has been pictured in Manchester United’s new training kit ahead of his expected summer transfer to the Premier League club.

The 16-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a transfer to Old Trafford for months but it now appears that he is set to move to the English club to continue his development.

Although there is yet to be an official announcement at Old Trafford, Chong is expected to join the Premier League club this summer and could feature for either the Red Devils’ Under-18 or Under-21 teams next season.

The teenager recently explained the reasons behind his choice to move to Manchester.

And it looks like an announcement is closer than ever, after he was pictured wearing United’s new training kit while posing for a picture with a fan, as shown in the tweet above.

Chong is widely regarded to be one of the Netherland’s most exciting young prospects and he is clearly eager to make an impact in England.
