Tahith Chong appears to already be a Manchester United player...

Tahith Chong has been pictured with Manchester United starlet DJ Buffonge after apparently confirming his transfer to Old Trafford this summer.

The 16-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a switch to Manchester for months but it now appears that he has completed his move to the English club to continue his development.

Although there is yet to be an official announcement from United, Chong is expected to join the Premier League club this summer and could feature for either the Red Devils’ Under-18 or Under-21 teams next season.

The teenager recently explained the reasons behind his choice to move to Manchester.

And the forward looked to be in good spirits as he posed for a picture (above) with Buffonge wearing United’s new Adidas training kit.

Chong is widely regarded to be one of the Netherland’s most exciting young prospects and he is clearly eager to make an impact in England.

Jose Mourinho kicked off his reign as Manchester United boss by overseeing a 2-0 victory over Wigan Athletic in their first pre-season friendly on Saturday.
