Bastian Schweinsteiger was all smiles as he married tennis star Ana Ivanovic in Venice on Tuesday.

The Manchester United midfielder tied the knot with the 28-year-old Serbian in Italy less than a week after Schweinsteiger and his Germany team-mates suffered the disappointment of their Euro 2016 exit at the hands of France.

It also comes after Ivanovic’s Wimbledon exit in the first round at the hands of Ekaterina Alexandrova.
