Real Madrid interested in £35m Tottenham star – report
Real Madrid want to sign Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, according to the Daily Mirror
Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris is a £35m target for Champions League holders Real Madrid, according to the Daily Mirror.
The France international has been a mainstay of Mauricio Pochettino’s Lilywhites side over the past two seasons after being handed the captain’s armband at White Hart Lane.
Lloris helped Spurs challenge for the Premier League title before a four-game winless run saw Tottenham’s bid to win the top-flight crown unravel as Leicester City were crowned champions.
The shot stopper is currently in action for les Bleus as Didier Deschamps’s French side look to win the European championship on home soil this summer.
According to the Daily Mirror, Real Madrid are interested in the £35m-rated Lloris as a potential number one goalkeeper for Los Blancos.
The La Liga giants have been previously linked with a move for Manchester United first-choice goalkeeper David De Gea but the Spain international is set to remain at Old Trafford beyond the end of the summer transfer window.
Tottenham finished in third place in the Premier League table last season behind bitter rivals Arsenal.
