These three Man United players could be sold by Jose Mourinho – report

Marcos Rojo, Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger are among as many as eight players who could be sold by Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Sun is claiming that Mourinho is preparing to offload a number of players in the summer transfer window as he bids to fund a big-money deal to land Paul Pogba from Juventus.

The same newspaper story claims that the trio of Rojo, Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger are among the players most at risk of the axe at Old Trafford following poor seasons.

The article also quotes a source claiming that Mourinho has made it clear that he only wants to work with 22 key players in his first season at Old Trafford.

Mourinho’s United have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks since his appointment but have thus far only signed striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, defender Eric Bailly and playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
