Vincent Janssen is set to fly to the English capital to complete a move to Tottenham Hotspur, according to speculation in the Netherlands.

Dutch media outlet De Telegraaf are reporting that Janssen is en route to London to complete a medical and finalise a transfer to White Hart Lane after months of speculation linking the centre-forward with the Lilywhites.

According to the same story in De Telegraaf, Spurs have agreed an £18.77 (€22m) fee with Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar for the highly-rated 22-year-old striker.

Janssen finished as the Dutch top-flight’s leading goal-scorer in the 2015/16 season after a return of 27 goals in 34 games for Alkmaar.

The Tottenham target scored his first goal for the national team against England in a 2-1 victory over Roy Hodgson’s side.

The Alkmaar man has netted a total of three goals in five appearances for the Dutch national side.
