Watch: New Arsenal signing celebrates move with Gunners fans
Granit Xhaka looks pretty happy to be an Arsenal player...
Granit Xhaka certainly looks pleased to be an Arsenal player.
The Switzerland international became the north London club’s first signing of the summer transfer window back in May after Arsene Wenger moved quickly to bolster his midfield options at Emirates Stadium.
Xhaka officially signed his contract with the Gunners earlier this month before jetting off for a summer holiday ahead of his first season in the Premier League.
Xhaka – who was born in Switzerland – is the son of Kosovo Albanian parents.
And the 23-year-old clearly looked pleased to link up with some Arsenal fans in Kosovo as he enjoys his summer travels.
Xhaka posted the video above on his personal Instagram account on Saturday afternoon and wrote: “Thank you fans from Arsenal Supporters Kosova #GunnerXhaka.”
The midfielder will be looking to make the most of his remaining days off before he jets back to London to begin his preparations for the new season under Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners finished second last season, 10 points behind champions Leicester City.
