Watch: New Man United signing out to impress Jose Mourinho

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is determined to prove himself at Manchester United next season...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has taken to social media to signal his intention to prove himself to new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

The Swedish striker become Mourinho’s second summer signing last month as he joined United on a free transfer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.

Ibrahimovic is currently away on his summer holidays as he recharges his batteries following his involvement in Euro 2016 with Sweden.

However, the 34-year-old is clear to stress that he is making sure he stays fit during his time away from football.

Ibrahimovic posted the video above of himself running on a treadmill while abroad on his personal Instagram account on Tuesday morning, and wrote the caption: “No need to get in shape, I stay in shape. Hard work pays off. @azsportswear #itsnotaboutthegear #imcoming”

Many of Mourinho’s players reported to Carrington to begin their pre-season preparations last week as the Portuguese coach gears up for life at Old Trafford.
