Watch: New Man United signing out to prove himself to Mourinho

Eric Bailly is working hard on his fitness levels ahead of his first season at Manchester United

Eric Bailly is clearly determined to make sure that he heads into his first season as a Manchester United player in the best possible shape.

The defender became Jose Mourinho’s first signing of the summer transfer window back in June as the Portuguese coach moved quickly to bring him in from Villarreal.

Bailly is currently getting to know his new team-mates as he prepares for his first taste of the Premier League as a Manchester United player.

And the defender is clearly out to make sure that he is in peak physical condition heading into the 2016-17 campaign.

Andreas Pereira shared the video above on his personal Instagram account of himself performing some core exercises along with Antonio Valencia and Bailly during United’s recent tour to China.

He posted the video and wrote: “Some gym work with @antoniovalencia2525 and @ericbailly24 before flying home… Thank you to all our fans in China … Hope to see you again soon.”
