Watch: Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes bold claim about Man United shirt
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is already feeling stronger as a Man United player
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left Manchester United’s title rivals sweating after the centre-forward revealed that wearing the Red Devils shirt makes him feel even stronger ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The Sweden international became Jose Mourinho’s second summer signing after the 34-year-old opted to move to Old Trafford from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain earlier in July.
The former AC Milan and Juventus striker has been handed the number nine shirt as the towering centre-forward follows in the footsteps of Andy Cole and Dimitar Berbatov.
Ibrahimovic has been training with Mourinho’s new-look United squad at Carrington trianing ground this week ahead of the retired Sweden international’s first Premier League campaign.
And United’s Instagram page posted the above video of Ibrahimovic squeezing his big frame into some United merchandise, which prompted the following response from the giant Swede:
“It’s tight, this shirt. It makes me look stronger!”
Ibrahimovic scored 38 times in PSG’s title-winning campaign in Ligue 1 last season as Laurent Blanc’s side continued their dominance of the French top flight.
United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson won his 13th top-flight crown as Red Devils manager.
