Roger Federer will open play on Centre Court against Milos Raonic on Friday 8 July at Wimbledon 2016

Roger Federer will open play on Centre Court with his semi-final clash against Milos Raonic, after Friday’s order of play at Wimbledon was confirmed.

The Swiss maestro and third seed will take on sixth seed Raonic in the first of the two men’s singles semi-final clashes at the All England Club, starting from 13:00 BST.

British eyes will then turn to the second match on the main show court, as Andy Murray prepares to take on Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in the second semi-final.

Murray booked his place in the last four with a thrilling five-set clash against France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Wednesday night.
