The Manchester United midfielder looked to be relaxed over the weekend

Ander Herrera looked to be enjoying his downtime as he went for a stroll with his girlfriend Isabel Collado on Friday afternoon ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League opener against Bournemouth on Sunday.

The Spanish midfielder will be hoping to be involved when the Red Devils kick off their first game under new manager Jose Mourinho in the Premier League following his appointment as the club’s new boss back in May.

Mourinho has already led United to their first piece of silverware this season after guiding them to a 2-1 win over Leicester City in the Community Shield last weekend.

Now, the Portuguese coach will be hoping to get United’s Premier League campaign off to a winning start against Eddie Howe’s men on Sunday afternoon.

And Herrera looked to be fully relaxed as he enjoyed a stroll with his other half and the couple’s young baby on Friday afternoon.

Herrera posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Having a walk in the city #Manchester #town #bugaboo #BugabooElMito #friday”
