Antonio Conte delivers latest transfer update for Chelsea fans
Antonio Conte is expecting Chelsea to be busy on the transfer front in the coming days
Antonio Conte has revealed that he is expecting a flurry of transfer activity at Chelsea as the new Premier League season draws ever nearer.
The Italian coach is currently preparing for his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge after being brought in as the club’s new manager earlier in the year.
Conte has thus far only signed two players since his official arrival at Chelsea – striker Michy Batshuayi and midfielder N’Golo Kante.
However, the west London side continue to be linked with a host of players as the new Premier League season draws closer.
And the Italian coach has appeared to hint that Chelsea’s transfer business is far from over this summer.
Conte is quoted as saying by the London Evening Standard: “I think in the future something can happen with the transfer market, in and out.
“We know that in the future, different changes can happen, both in and out, with the players.”
Chelsea finished 10th in the Premier League last season after Jose Mourinho was sacked as manager back in December.
The Blues kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against West Ham.
