Arsenal to make Premier League star Wenger’s fourth signing – report

Riyad Mahrez has agreed to join Arsenal from Leicester City, according to reports in Algeria

Riyad Mahrez has agreed a move to Arsenal from Leicester City to become the north London club’s fourth summer signing, according to reports in Algeria.

Algerian website Le Buteur is reporting that the PFA player of the year has his heart set on a move to The Emirates and has agreed on a transfer to Arsenal after his agent met with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

There is yet to be any official confirmation from either club about the possible deal for Mahrez to join Arsenal from Leicester.

The Gunners have been linked with a host of players in recent weeks during the summer transfer window but have thus far only signed midfielder Granit Xhaka, striker Takuma Asano and defender Rob Holding.

The north London club came in for criticism for failing to maintain a title challenge last season as they ended up 10 points behind Leicester City in the table.
