Arsenal will have to pay £50m to land top attacker – report

Arsenal will have to pay at least £50m if they want to sign Julian Draxler this summer, say reports

Arsenal will have to shell out at least £50m if they want to tempt Wolfsburg into selling Julian Draxler in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Star is claiming that the German club would demand a fee of at least £50m for the Germany international this summer.

Draxler’s future has again been a source of speculation this year after he recently declared his desire to leave Wolfsburg.

However, the Bundesliga outfit released an official statement insisting that they had no plans to sell Draxler and that he would be staying with the German club.

Now, the report in the British media is claiming that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger would have to smash his club’s transfer record if he wants to bring Draxler to The Emirates this summer.

The same story says that the 22-year-old Draxler has his heart set on a transfer away from Wolfsburg this summer.
