Paul Merson believes Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool attack will prove too much for Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds will look to record back-to-back Premier League wins after a thrilling 4-3 victory over title rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Philippe Coutinho cancelled out Theo Walcott’s opener with a brilliant free-kick before the Brazilian added his second sandwiched between goals from Adam Lallana and Sadio Mane.

Burnley, on the other hand, lost 1-0 to Swansea City at Turf Moor upon the Clarets’s return to the Premier League following a one-year absence.

Former Arsenal and England playmaker Merson believes the Reds will ease to a comfortable victory over Sean Dyche’s side thanks to their superior attacking options.

“I don’t think many teams will go to Burnley and take them apart because they are well organised and have a good manager, but Liverpool look dangerous in attack,” Merson told Sky Sports.

“They will be able to cope without Sadio Mane if he’s out for an extended period because Jurgen Klopp has plenty of options going forward. It’s in defence that he has problems.”

Klopp’s side finished in eighth place in the Premier League table last season after the German took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers in October.
