Michael Owen is backing Liverpool to make it successive wins on the road against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds got off to a winning start in the Premier League last weekend after a 4-3 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Philippe Coutinho cancelled out Theo Walcott’s opener before the Brazilian netted his second sandwiched between goals from Adam Lallana and Sadio Mane.

The 18-time English champions are in second place behind Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side as Jurgen Klopp’s men attempt to win their first-ever Premier League title.

Former Liverpool striker Owen doesn’t envisage the Reds coming unstuck against Sean Dyche’s side at Turf Moor in Saturday’s fixture.

“Burnley have never scored a goal let alone take a point from Liverpool in the Premier League and I expect to see The Reds make it two out of two on their travels for the season at Turf Moor,” Owen told Bet Victor.

Burnley lost 1-0 to Swansea City in their opening Premier League game of the season at Turf Moor last weekend.

Liverpool have signed seven players in the summer transfer window as Klopp further stamps his mark on the Reds squad.
