Antonio Conte wants Chelsea to sign Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic after Romelu Lukaku committed his future to Everton for another season, according to reports in the British media.

The Sunday Mirror are reporting that the Blues manager is still keen to bolster his attacking options this summer despite Lukaku spurning the chance to rejoin the west London side in favour of remaining at Goodison Park.

The article states that Conte wants to sign a proven goal-scorer capable of firing his Chelsea side to the Premier League title despite already having Diego Costa and Michy Batshuayi in their ranks.

And the story suggests that Chelsea could turn to Mandzukic is available at around £25m after just one season in Turin.
