Gary Lineker makes bold claim about Man United’s signing of Paul Pogba

Gary Lineker has his say on Manchester United's big-money signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus

Gary Lineker has taken to social media to describe Manchester United’s signing of Paul Pogba as a watershed moment for the Premier League.

The Red Devils finally announced the deal to bring the France midfielder back to Old Trafford in the early hours of Tuesday morning after months of speculation linking him with a return to United.

Pogba has signed a five-year contract and returns to the club he left for next to nothing back in the summer of 2012.

The 23-year-old will now be hoping to help Jose Mourinho’s side enjoy a successful first season under the Portuguese coach.

And Lineker gave his thoughts on the big-money transfer via a series of posts on Twitter.

The former England striker tweeted:

United are preparing to kick off their Premier League campaign with a trip to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
