Arsenal are working hard to secure the signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon this summer, according to Sky Sports News HQ reporter Kaveh Solhekol.
The Gunners have been relentlessly linked with a move to bring in a new forward this summer as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season.
Wenger has already signalled his intention to sign a striker with the club’s failed bid to land Jamie Vardy from Leicester City before Euro 2016.
It was also recently confirmed by Lyon that Arsenal had had an official bid for France forward Lacazette turned down by the Ligue 1 club in recent days.
However, reporter Solhekol says that Arsenal are still keen to try and push through a deal before the transfer deadline.

Arsenal finished second in the Premier League table last season and were widely criticised for failing to sustain a title challenge as they ended up 10 points behind surprise champions Leicester City.
