Insider reveals Arsene Wenger’s remaining Arsenal transfer plans
Arsene Wenger wants to bring a new striker to Arsenal before the transfer window shuts, according to Emanuele Giulianelli
Arsene Wenger still wants to try and bring in a new striker to bolster his Arsenal strike force before the close of the summer transfer window, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
The Gunners have already found themselves under intense pressure after they lost their Premier League opener 4-3 in dramatic fashion at Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Wenger has made no secret of his desire to bring in a new forward this summer, with Lyon confirming earlier in the transfer window that the French club had rejected a bid from Arsenal to sign Alexandre Lacazette.
The Frenchman has remained typically coy when quizzed about Arsenal’s transfer dealings throughout the summer transfer window.
Now, however, Italian reporter Giulianelli is claiming that Wenger is still keen to bring in some attacking reinforcements before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
