Jose Mourinho reveals how many more players Man United will sign
The Manchester United manager is planning to add one more player to his squad in the summer transfer window
Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Manchester United will complete one more signing before the close of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils appointed the outspoken manager as Louis van Gaal’s replacement in May after a disappointing fifth-placed finish under the Dutchman saw United miss out on Champions League football this season.
Mourinho has already bolstered his United squad with three new signings, starting with the £30m acquisition of Ivory Coast centre-half Eric Bailly from La Liga outfit Villarreal in June.
Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic opted to swap Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain for United last month after winning his fourth successive French top-flight crown in May.
The four-time European Cup winners also snapped up Armenia international Henrikh Mkhitayan in a £30m deal from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund as Mourinho bolstered his midfield options.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a world-record move for Juventus star Paul Pogba in the past fortnight, although a deal for the France international hasn’t been completed despite all the transfer speculation.
However, Mourinho gave United supporters something to get excited about after he confirmed the 20-time English champions will complete one more deal before the conclusion of the summer transfer window.
