Liverpool are weighing up an offer for Netherlands and Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mirror are claiming that Jurgen Klopp could turn to the Portuguese league to solve his defensive issues following a string of injuries.

The article states that Martins’s versatility is an attractive proposition for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool have made seven signings in the summer transfer window so far as Klopp gave his Reds squad a much-needed overhaul.

The 48-year-old started his spending spree with the £4.7m signing of Loris Karius from Bundesliga side Mainz in May.

Sadio Mane became the second signing of the summer for Liverpool after he completed a £30m switch from Southampton.

Estonia captain Ragnar Klavan, Austrian veteran Alex Manninger and Netherlands midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum all moved to Anfield in July.
