Marcus Rashford comments on new Man United signing
Marcus Rashford is desperate to learn from Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United in the coming months
Marcus Rashford admits that he is keen to learn from Zlatan Ibrahimovic following the striker’s arrival at Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Ibrahimovic became the Red Devils’ second summer signing last month as new manager Jose Mourinho moved quickly to bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford ahead of his first season in charge.
The Swedish forward scored on his unofficial Manchester United debut on Saturday night as the Red Devils ran out 5-2 winners over Galatasaray in their most recent pre-season game.
And teenage striker Rashford has revealed that he is very keen to learn from the veteran forward during his spell at Old Trafford.
Speaking in an interview with MUTV, Rashford said: “We can definitely all learn from him while he is here, so we all need to take that chance.
“It’s a massive help to be with him every day and it’s great to see what he is like on and off the pitch.
“There is a lot to learn from him and hopefully I can bring some of his game into mine.”
Rashford will be hoping to earn a regular spot in the Manchester United first team next season after breaking into the side under Louis van Gaal last term.
The Red Devils finished 10th and won the FA Cup under the Dutchman.
