Matt Le Tissier has warned Manchester United that it will take time for Jose Mourinho’s signings to gel.

The Red Devils made an impressive start to their Premier League campaign last weekend after Mourinho’s side were 3-1 winners against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

New signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who moved to Old Trafford on a free transfer from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain scored United’s third goal on the south coast.

Eric Bailly was named man of the match after he starred alongside Daley Blind at centre-half after the Ivory Coast international moved to United in a £30m deal from Villarreal earlier this summer.

Mourinho’s third summer signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan was a late substitute for the Red Devils, while £92m world-record signing Paul Pogba was suspended for their Premier League opener.

However, Southampton legend Le Tissier cautioned United that it would take time for all their new arrivals to hit the ground running with the rest of their team-mates ahead of Friday night’s visit of the Saints.

“You don’t spend that sort of money and not get better, but I still think the team will need a bit of time to bed in,” Le Tissier told Sky Sportshttps://www.thesportreview.com/wp-content/uploads/zlatan3001.jpg.
