Nani: My thoughts on Man United’s transfer bid for Paul Pogba

Nani is backing Paul Pogba to be a success at Manchester United if he returns to Old Trafford

Nani believes that Paul Pogba will shine at Manchester United in the coming seasons if he completes his transfer back to Old Trafford this summer.

The Red Devils have been relentlessly linked with a bid to bring the France midfielder back to the club he left in the summer of 2012.

United are thought to have all but concluded a deal to bring Pogba back to Old Trafford from Juventus, with Jose Mourinho hinting that the Red Devils will announce their fourth summer signing in the coming days.

And former Manchester United midfielder Nani is fully expecting to see Pogba improve the club should he seal his much-anticipated transfer back to the Premier League outfit.

Nani is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News HQ: “Pogba is a great there are no doubts about that, but the numbers today are different [in terms of] the way the clubs buy the players.

“I don’t want to talk about numbers but the player is a fantastic player and any team who buys him will be very well set.”

United finished fifth in the Premier League table last season and won the FA Cup before Mourinho was appointed as Louis van Gaal’s successor at Old Trafford back in May.
