The France international could make his second United debut against the Saints after the midfielder completed an eagerly-anticipated £92m move to Old Trafford from Serie A giants Juventus last week.
Pogba was suspended for United’s opening Premier League game of the season as the 23-year-oMold served a one-game suspension carried over from Serie A last term.
However, United’s record signing has reassured his manager Jose Mourinho that he is ready to line out for the Red Devils in their first home game of the season.
“You have to ask the manager, but I feel very good and have been training for 10 days. I am okay,” Pogba told Manchester Evening News.
“I am quite used to this. I played the World Cup two years ago when at Juve and three years ago I was at the U20 World Cup as well. So I am okay. It is about your body and I have been training on my holidays.”
United were 3-1 winners against Bournemouth in their Premier League opener at Vitality Stadium last weekend thanks to goals from Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Red Devils are currently top of the Premier League table ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea following their impressive performance on the south coast.
Mourinho was appointed as Louis van Gaal’s successor in May after their disappointing fifth-place finish.
