Paul Pogba has lifted the lid on his first conversation with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho following his £92m move to Old Trafford.

The France international sealed a return to the 20-time English champions last week after months of speculation linking Pogba with a move to the Red Devils.

Pogba missed United’s Premier League opener at Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon due to suspension as Mourinho’s men were 3-1 winners against Bournemouth.

However, the France international could make his second United debut against Southampton at Old Trafford in their first Premier League game of the season at Old Trafford on Friday night.

Speaking to MUTV, Pogba revealed his initial conversation with manager Mourinho following the completion of his world-record return to the four-time European champions.

Pogba moved to Juventus in an £800,000 deal from United after he was deemed surplus to requirements under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2012.
