Watch: Paul Pogba’s message for Man United team-mates after opening win

Paul Pogba has a message for his victorious Manchester United team-mates after their 3-1 win at Bournemouth

Paul Pogba got right behind his Manchester United team-mates on Sunday afternoon after missing their victory at Bournemouth due to suspension.

Playing their first Premier League under new manager Jose Mourinho, United took the lead in the 40th minute thanks to Juan Mata’s opener.

Red Devils captain Wayne Rooney then doubled the visitors’ advantage after half-time, before Zlatan Ibrahimovic fired home in the 64th minute to net his first Premier League goal on his debut in the English top flight.

Adam Smith then pulled a goal back for Eddie Howe’s side when he smashed the ball into the top corner from 14 yards out.

However, the Red Devils held on and claimed the three points to get Mourinho’s reign at United off to a winning start in the Premier League.

Pogba missed the game due to suspension but kept close to the action by watching the game on television at home.

Pogba posted the picture above of himself watching United in action in a dark room on Sunday afternoon on his personal Instagram account, along with the caption: “Go go go team! @manchesterunited #firstneverfollows”
