The Arsenal forward has offered some advice to his team-mates

Alexis Sanchez has offered some advice to his Arsenal team-mates ahead of one of the biggest seasons in the club’s history.

The Gunners are facing increased competition for the Premier League crown this season with Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United all appointing new managers ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

Arsenal finished in second place in the Premier League table and 10 points behind champions Leicester City as the north London side extended their wait to win the top-flight crown after last tasting success in 2004.

While Sanchez has only won the FA Cup since his £35m move to Arsenal from La Liga giants Barcelona in 2014, the Chile international has won back-to-back Copa America crowns during the same spell.

And the 28-year-old offered some advice to his Arsenal team-mates – and hope to Gunners supporters – with a motivational post on his Instagram page on Friday evening.

Sanchez posted the above photo and wrote the following caption:

“To be a great champion, you have to believe you are the best, and if you are not, act like you are …..💪🏽⚽️”

The South American has scored 29 times in 65 Premier League games for the north London side over the past two seasons.
